JOE

A one-man dance show that ranges from the hilarious to the extraordinarily poignant. Starting with the comic tour-de-force revealing the turbulent momentum of a sleepless night and finally ending with a blindfolded solo where a single figure moves into the darkeness of the future, this visually intoxicating dance experience is a journey in itself. Danced by Louis Kavouras, principal dancer of the Erick Hawkins Dance Company, cited as the Best Soloist in New York by renowned dance critic, Francis Mason in 1997. Premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival August 2000.
